Welcome Back self!

Hey yo, to all my lovely (possibly non-exsistent) readers! I have been working soo much I have hardly had time to think or breath let alone blog or vlog! I doing this stuff but it takes time that I just dont have sometimes!

Well i guess i just wanted to update on a few things going on lately. Today I made arrangements to sell our crib and Kalli's Change table. I have decided that i am buying play yard mattresses and the twins will just sleep there until they transition, I loved that Kalli transitioned early so I plan on switching them early too! Another exciting this is that we have started planning the move from Room Sharing with Jordan and I to Twins and Kal all in one room! Kalli's room will be turned into a playroom! (I have lots of exciting projects in the works for that!) I am working now and Jordan is doing awesome at being a SAHD he does great :) and he even empties the dishwasher and does the laundry! YAEY!

Well its late and I have work tomorow so i will see you next time

Working Momma!

My first few days of being a working mom have been hectic! The first two days I worked afternoon shift. I got up at 8 with the kids, got them all fed and ready for the day ad played for a while. I left at 12 for work , right after Kalli went down for her nap. This made it much easier since she wasnt crying for me. But the next two days I worked the am shift, I got up at 7 and the kids were awake too ( I think they smell me wake up...) So i fed Luke and got kalli her breakfast, but when I went to leave she wounded so heart broken...

I know this is what has to happen now, but it is deffinitly an adjustment. I wish Jordan would blog about his days... maybe i'll ask him too, he has been recording alot for me, so I dont miss out too much.

I love my family so much, this is all for them!

Homemade Baby Food Attempt Successful!

Yesterday I made my first two batches of baby food for the twins! I made peas and green beans! I got 28 oz  of each and paid about 4.00! Yeay for me saving $$!

Working Mom & Stay at Home Dad

It is official! I have been hired! I will begin my new job at a local aquarium/research center's student residence kitchen! I am excited, scared and nervous all at once. This new employment means that it is time for daddy to take on momma's role! Jordan is now going to be a stay at home dad, for the next 6 months! I start work on Wednesday, so I have only a few days to give him a crash course in parenting, He is already such an amazing dad, but he is a little lost on the housewife side of things. I am not going to compile a list and guide to everything he needs to know about taking care of the house while he does the child care duties! Wish me luck! I will post what i come up with!

Have a "Happy" Pregnancy

I have been thinking about my future and my past and reflecting on things that have happened in my life a lot lately. One thing I keep going back to is my "unhappy" pregnancies, this hiding, the secrecy and the judgement surrounding them. While I was living on my own, with a decent income, my own car, and a stable job when I got pregnant with Kalli, I still felt like it needed to be hidden away because I was young, and I hadn't gone to college yet. I told my mom after a few days, but it was more Jordan's family that I didn't want to tell. When he finally went and told his mom, her reaction was " I don't want anything to do with it!" This was so hurtful, and because of that I kept it a secret longer and longer, I didn't tell my boss until I was 17 weeks along, and this was only a few weeks before I got put off work due to extreme sciatica, I only told one person whom I worked with because I knew I shouldn't lift heavy things and I would need some help with that. Eventually things got easier but once she was born early, and was in the hospital I didnt get the out pouring of friends and family coming to visit us in the hospital bringing balloons and cards for us. Nope, I was all alone in there. Jordan wasn't able to spend the night because of hospital regulations, so it was just me alone. When we found out about the twins I told my mom fairly soon after but other than that it was kept a secret for months, until people started finding out. Jordan and his mom didn't speak for months. Again the same thing happened with the early birth, no visitors.

Why is it that I didnt get to have a happy pregnancy announcement? It was more of a shameful experience for me. Even though I dont want to have anymore kids If i were to get knocked up again it again wouldnt be a good experience because it would be baby #4... and again shame and pity.

Force Feeding JUNK!

Now, I am NOT sorry if i offend anyone with this.  It is my opinion and belief that small children should not have sweets, especially babies and toddlers. At this age they don't know the difference, you could offer them a carrot stick and they wouldn't know the difference. When you or I eat a chocolate bar or a bag of candy we know that what we are putting into our bodies is not healthy, but that is a choice that we make for our self. We know that is isn't good for us but we have the capacity to decide to eat it. When you feed a toddler this stuff, a kid who doesn't know that it is bad and doesn't know why high calorie sugar sticks shouldn't really be put into their body, you are FORCE FEEDING you kid JUNK! It is your responsibility as a parent  to do whats right and make the right decisions for your child, putting the right kind of food into their body is a  very important decision. It is a decision that can affect their lifestyle forever. If you start your kid off on junk food all the time they are going to want it and they don't know it'd bad or why its bad. So why knowingly increase your childs chances of getting diabetes, or becoming obese. I guess so you can feel like a "good parent" for giving your kids every chocolate thing out there for easter. Well if you are going to shovel sugar down your kids throat then i really suggest people go out and research the effects of feeding BABIES candy and chocolate, and why you shouldnt do it.. Im sorry i had to vent about this subject. It makes me sad, babies and toddlers rely on their parents and trust without a doubt that their mom or dad will know whats right and will do the right things, if they are taught that eating a bunch of candy and junk is right thats a problem, they cannot decide NOT to eat it they just will if that is that they are given. its kinda like smoking... you choose to smoke and you make the choice if you are around someone who is smoking, its your choice, but having your kids around a smoker, they are not given the choice weather or not to put those chemicals into their body, they are being forced it. They can not make that choice for them self at all.

Damn Dr's...

I have been having MAJOR anxiety about turning Kalli forward facing in her carseat... Ever since we took her to the Dr more than a month ago and the dr measured puting pen mark at her head and foot on the paper on the bed and told us she was 31.5" tall... her carseat only RF'd up to 32". I really didnt feel like she was that tall but i went with it and then yesterday i decided to measure her myself by standing her up and putting a book on her head and marking on the wall. Well when i measured her she was just barely 30". I honeslty trust my measurement more so that means i am keeping her rear faced for a little while longer!

I bought her the fisher price grow with me carseat/booster, but when she fell asleep her head hung forward. So I have decided to return it and purchase another scenera, i tried Forward facing her in the scenera and her head didnt hang. So yeah  i am going to go buy one and HOPE!! that the three will fit! And as much as i LOVED the seat i dont feel comfortable with her head hanging like that, but maybe when she is ready for a booster or outgrows the scenera she will be ready for that seat. I am sad to see it go but oh well...

Yeayy Kalli!

Yeay to my miss Kalli! Today at nap time Kalli refused her bottle. Since being sick she has hardly wanted it at all and today she hasn't wanted it once and she even pushed it away. I am so proud of her and I really hope that this continues for her!

A little update about our sickness.. Kalli still has diarrhea  and it hurts her very bad now as she has also got a real bad rash from it. Luke seems like he is done, he had one small hard poop, and Emma did wake up with diarrhea but it hasn't gotten any worse. I am not sick any more, I am still pretty exhausted from lack of sleep but otherwise i'm almost top notch!. Jordan says he's "sick" but who knows how long he plans to milk that one!!

The Flu is Here

Our family has officially been hit with with the flu. All three kids got it coming out both ends... And honestly my tummy is rumblin! It is a little bit stressful. Last night we had a fainting episode with Kal and had to take her to the ER just to be on the safe side. We are now giving her lots of pedialyte and changing lots of sheeets and diapers... Wish me luck all I will talk to you Soon!

Play Days!

So a midst my allergic mope-fest, i get a call! It's my best friend in the whole world! She moved to a PEI about 6 months ago and i have missed her like crazy. I have had two kids and her daughter has grown soo much. I was so excited so i put up with my constant sneezing and i got up and went and picked her up! She and her 7 month old beauty Gemma came over for a play date and to meet my new babies!! It has been so long since we have seen each other!

Her and I have been friends since i was 5 and she was 3 (late birthday), so now, 15 years later we are still the best of friends, we talk on FB all the time and when ever she is down we make a point of spending as much time together as we can. Her family is my family. Her grandmother was my babysitter most of my life, and i call her nan, and her other grandparents nan and gramp!

Our kiddos really loved playing with each other. Kalli is just a bit too big to really play with Gemma and the twins are just a bit too small but it was still fun seeing them interact!

Semi-Psychic KIiddos

Ahhh my kids! Today i had to get up early and leave before they got up, and Jordan was supposed to get up with them at 8:30 (the time they wake up everyday!) But today on my early morning when im just about to climb in the shower i hear a little Luke squeel... he's up and my shower plans are blown! Walking out into the kitchen i hear Kalli groan. Thankfully she stayed asleep so maybe i'll get out the door before shes up. I swear these kids are psychic!

Contraversial Toddler Topics

I have been watching a lot of the controversial parenting tag videos on Youtube lately and i even did one myself (click here to watch it!). Even though i do and have at one time relate to the topics sorta, i feel like the world deserves a controversial toddler tag, so since i haven't seen one i think i might go ahead and create one of my own!

I thought of this today when i was looking at Toddler Harnesses online.. And i bid on one on ebay.. Something i never ever thought i would ever use or purchase i am making a solid plan to buy! I am in a situation now where kalli is a RUNNER! in the store she will not sit in the cart, she wants to stand up and turn around and jump and play.. so i try holding here, that doesnt work well when she is 26lbs and squirmy! So my next option is to let her walk, well i can't very well grocery shop while holding her hand and i can't run after her and still manage to get what i need to get into the cart so this is my next solution.

The next topic is a hot one, Forward Facing Vs. Rear Facing. I have always been a HUGE advocate for Extended rear facing, and i still am but i just cannot afford to drop 3 or 4 hundred dollars on a diano or clek, and i can't go out and get a new car so my options are limited as to what will fit in my car and my budget. Kalli recently out grew the 32" height limit on her scenera, In Canada the height limits are lower, they are on more seats and more  strict to use! So my option is to Turn her around FF in her scenera and then buy 2 more Sceneras for the Babies, While i was out shopping for the two sceneras for the twins i came across something that caught my eye! The fisher Price Safe Voyage Grow with me Child-Booster seat. It is a 5pt harness FF seat up to 65lbs and then to a High Back Booster and then a Backless booster! So i purchased this seat and one Scenera. Emma will inherit Kalli's Scenera RF and Luke gets a Brand new Black and grey Scenera, and Kalli will have her grow with me, i ABSOLUTELY plan on buying these seats for the twins when they are ready!

Potty training, Early, Late, Toddler led? Well my plan is to slowly introduce it to kalli, and from there let her take the lead, i will have it ready for her starting at 18 months, and i will bring her with me to the bathroom, but for the most part if she wants to go or not will be up to her. This is how my mother did it with me and i never had a single accident once she let me learn the
potty on my own!

Milk. Cows, Almond, Soy, Ect. Now i know some kids have allergies, or other health issues but otherwise i plan on feeding my kids 2% cows milk. I live in canada so there are no artificial growth hormones, but in the US it is legal and we do buy most of our milk there but most kinds there do not have hormones anymore, it will say on the package "with no growth hormones". I use oakhurst and have since kalli was a year old.

nuk big dot bottles walmartBottle and Paci weaning is my next topic, When to give it up? Alot of experts are saying to kick it by 1 year, but no later than 18 months, when i was younger i think i had it until i was 2 and im fine.. I have been having ALOT of trouble with weaning Kalli and i am really hoping she will be off it by 18 months. But if i could do it over i would 1 NEVER USED DROP INS and 2 started weaning at 6 months!

The morning after!

Wow, did I wake up to a surprise this morning!! I woke to a crying Kalli, Nudged Jordan, surprisingly he got up and brought her into my bed.. Then when i went to turn over to get up... PAIN radiating my thighs!! Wow.. I know last time i started to exersise i did a bizillion squats and this is how i felt but i guess i forgot about the morning after first workout i may be a bit sore, put im going to push through it! The twins are asleep and its still pretty cool in the house and Kalli is occupied with breakfast so i think i am going to get right too it! NO GIVING UP THIS TIME!!!

Ill let you know how i feel when im all done!

Bottle Weaning

Tonight is the first night of a new chapter of our lives, I have finally put my foot down and i will no longer give in and give Kalli her bottle, I put her to bed, and after two hours or tears and hugs and rocking and holding she is asleep, bottle free! Please Wish me luck in continuing this journey!

Budget Cuts!

I have been looking up and researching ways to save some money. Now that our income has significantly decreased, this is something that has become very important. But the more and more i look, i am realizing that i am doing 90% of the things i'm finding. Idk yet what i am going to do to save some dough! But i need to start figuring soon cause its not looking good. I just got my tax return (NOT NEARLY WHAT I WAS EXPECTING) and i used this to pay off our huggggeee phone/cable/internet (contracted) bill, i am buying the twins convertible car-seats and high chairs. Other than that the money is gone, we have no savings and this small chunk I've got i'm going to but the big things i will need in the upcoming months.

"You never know how much broker you will be tomorrow." This is a quote i have decided i will live by from now on. If i have the money to buy it today and know i will need it in the next month or two i am going to get it, what if i have absolutely no way to get it later, then what will we do?

I will update once i have got a plan but for now it's going to be a penny pinching few months!... well it would be if Canada wasn't getting rid of the penny!!!

F**K YOU 11:11

For the past little while I have been noticing 11:11 more then I ever have before, i will see it in the am and pm, I will notice a message was sent at 11:11, I seem to walk out into my kitchen at 11:11 every night, usually the morning one is noticed on my computer. The other night what i experienced kept me awake i was so freaked out.

Before i get into this i need you to know a couple things, my stove time, i thought i set it off of my phone time, my alarm clock is preset and has been since i got it months ago, and my phone is also digitally preset off of my phone connection thing. Also i had no clue what the time differences were/are between any of these things, and  you also should know that i live in a small apartment so my room, Kalli's room and the kitchen are very close so it didn't take long going between rooms.

So I walked into my bedroom to put the babies into their bed, when i walked in i glanced at the alarm clock and it said 11:11 and i was like "God Damn, seriously" and then i went on with what i was doing, i laid the babies down and then took my hair out of the elastic and brushed it, I looked back at my alarm clock and it then said 11:14, and i thought wouldn't it be freaky if i went out and the stove said 11:11, so i stopped brushing and went out, sure enough it did!!!! i had to sit there a second and take it in. I was a little bit freaked out by it.  I was also home alone, Jordan had gone out to a friends house. So after I collected myself again i went in to check on Kalli, adjusted the heat in her room like i always do before i go to bed, when i got back into my bedroom i picked up the phone  to call my mom before i went to sleep and, yup the phone said 11:11... I ended up freaking out a bit, i laid in bed scared SH**LESS for at least an hour until i fell asleep.

This really pushed this thing over the edge for me, now i am so freaked out i nearly cry every time i see the number, I  wish i could jut stop seeing it!! PLEASE!

Our New "Outing" Set-Up

As you may know it is very hard to go out with 3 babies, however with the right tools you can make life much, much easier.
We drive a sun fire, aka teeny tiny has no business driving around a big family, but it does! Now our biggest problem going out right now is that the babies in their car seats weight a ton! Oh, and that our trunk absolutely does not fit our MONSTER Double +Sit and stand stroller. Sooo our solution (for now) if that i put a baby in the baby carrier (yes i know all the stuff about the whole crotch dangler thing, i always keep one hand on baby to support him/her) and the other is in the click it stroller, the most awesome amazing thing i have ever found!! I can easily steer with one hand. And Kalli pretty much just walks and hold our hand now, so really if i 100% absolutely had to i could go out alone, but i really don't plan on it from a lonnnngggg time! And since my kiddos wont fit in their infant carrier forever, when they are big enough  will be putting them in a double umbrella stroller. Maybe someday we will get a van though and i can take out my massive stroller contraption!

New Adventures...

So it's official, Jordan is done work. He has taken parental leave from work to learn how to parent and to bond with our kids. In Canada, if you have worked a certain # of hours you are entitled to 35 weeks of parental leave, where they pay you 55% of your wages. It is going to be very tough financially, and we are now going to have to completely refocus our budget. I don't know yet how its going to work out but one thing i do know for sure is that it's going to be real tough to cut out unnecessary items, when you are already only buying the necessities.

I don't know where we will be 6 months from now, but as long as we're together  hope we will all be happy and healthy, i will keep you updated on how everything is going in out lives. See ya soon!

Babbles & Bubbles

Kalli is now 15 months old and she still isn't talking, she has all the sounds in her babbles but she has yet to put much of anything together  She says hi, and mama, but not always just sometimes other than that she doesn't connect any of what she says. Im getting a bit concerned about it, I read to her and speak with her but shes just not into it. I really hope she starts catching before her 18 month appointment, when they say she should be saying 5 + words!

Another thing happening with Kal is that she is terrified of bubbles, yeah sound funny i guess but when i gave her her first "bubble" bath she cried and wouldn't touch the bubbles! Poor girl!

Happy Valentines Day!

Today is the day that love is celebrated, we go on dates, dress our babies up and spend way too much on roses and chocolate. I love this holiday, and the only people who truly hate it are the single people, or the people who are away from their loved ones, I however am lucky enough to be spending today with the people who I Love the most, My  Hubby, my kids and my Mom. I Hope everyone has a lovely valentines day.

Here are a few fun facts about V-Day!
  • Valentine’s Day there is a 3.6 percent increase in spontaneous births
  • More than 36 million heart-shaped boxes of chocolate are sold for Valentine's Day each year.
  • On average, men shell out $130 each on candy, cards, jewelry, flowers and dates. That’s more than double what women commit to spending.
  • About 8 billion candy hearts will be produced this year; that’s enough candy to stretch from Rome, Italy to Valentine, Arizona 20 times and back again.
  • Worldwide, over 50 million roses are given for Valentine's Day each year.
  • Women purchase 85% of all valentines.
  • In order of popularity, Valentine's Day cards are given to teachers, children, mothers, wives, sweethearts and pets.
  • 73% of people who buy flowers for Valentine's Day are men, while only 27 percent are women.
  • In the Middle Ages, young men and women drew names from a bowl to see who their valentines would be. They would wear these names on their sleeves for one week. To wear your heart on your sleeve now means that it is easy for other people to know how you are feeling.
  • The Italian city of Verona, where Shakespeare's lovers Romeo and Juliet lived, receives about 1,000 letters addressed to Juliet every Valentine's Day.
  • Alexander Graham Bell applied for his patent on the telephone, an "Improvement in Telegraphy", on Valentine's Day, 1876.s
  • In Medieval times, girls ate unusual foods on St Valentine's Day to make them dream of their future husband.
  • According to the condom company Durex, condom sales are highest around Valentine's Day, which are 20 percent to 30 percent higher than usual.
  • More at-home pregnancy tests are sold in March than in any other month.
  • Penicillin, a popular treatment for venereal diseases such as syphilis, was introduced to the world on February 14, 1929.

Babies In a Waiting Room

Have you ever been to a dr`s office and there is a mother there who`s child wont atop crying or just wont sit still, well that was me today, Jordan and I took all 3 kids to the dr.. well Our dr office is TINY!!! the waiting room is about the size of Kalli`s Bedroom literary 8 Chairs, 4 along 2 walls and a door on another wall and a BIG ASS desk in the corner between the other two. SMALL SMALL SPACE! Not only was it tiny but it had to fit my family, which consisted of Me, Jordan, Kalli, The twins, their Car seats that they were in, our big puffy winter coats, a diaper bag, AND 6-8 other people in that waiting room! And of course Kalli sat still for all of 84 seconds before she started going stir crazy and sinning and trying to get strangers to pick her up and trying to steal the mas coffee and sitting down right behind the door and trying to grab things off the desk, ripping magazines, throwing her bottle, screaming when we tried to pick her up and absolutely not cooperating what so ever! On top of this i also had the twins there, by this time they hadn't eaten in nearly 3 hours and they were starting to fuss, so while sticking paci`s in moths keeping Kalli off of strange mens laps and that office was heating up  fast, with the 11 bodies in that tiny room and the energy coming off Kalli we were in a tiny sauna. Honestly i am not very fond of this doctor so far, my lovely awesome dr retired and this is who we were placed with, with NO option to change because  of such a lack of Dr`s in our area its very much take what you get and suck it up! This office is not very kid friendly, Usually a Family dr would have toys or a kid book or something but nope! On top of the lack of entertainment was a sign on the wall that read "Parents, Please keep your Kids Under Control". ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?!?!?!? Have you people ever tried to keep kids cooped up like that for half an hour wait in a hot office with little entertainment and have them "Under control?"

So finally we get out of the waiting room and into the cramped little Dr. Office room where she informs me that i need to go back in 2 weeks because she didn't know that the babies needed needles and she didn't have the drug there. ARE YOU SERIOUS!! I live forever away and it is obviously hard to handle all them kids there and i have to come back... I am Sooo Not impressed.

Terrible Twos Have Come Early!

To be perfectly honest Kalli has been less than a joy lately. She is coming to an age where her independence has not yet caught up with her ability to do things, this resulting in the "terrible Twos" making their appearance early. Now i understand that the terrible twos are not an actual scientifically proven phenomenon or anything but there has most deffinitly been a change in my once happy-go-lucky little girl, She is throwing tantrums daily, and getting into everything. She hears "No" so often i truly think its starting to lose its meaning to her. She cannot talk yet so her communication is lacking and her demands are growing. I have been doing some research about the "Terrible Twos" and I have put together some things i wanted to share.

The Terrible Twos a Time of Tantrums and Tumbles

Toddlers know what they want when they want it, and a lot of the time don't have the words to properly express what they are looking for, this can be frustrating for them. Imagine if you were trying so desperately to tell someone what you want or need and they just couldn't understand you, well you might cry too. So don't blame them try to help them learn to communicate better rater than getting upset yourself try to figure out what they are wanting, tantrums are going to happen, and they are probably going to happen in public every time you go out somewhere but that is no reason to stay cooped up in the house all the time is it? As long as you can learn to deal with it ad not to let it phase you you can easily get through a trip to Walmart with all your hair intact!

Maybe your child can communicate with you better, when you have to say no, you cannot have that toy or no you cannot eat the cat food. They are not going to like this very much. Saying no all the time they may just stop listening and start repeating  At this age a kids favorite work is probably no. Bed time, NO, Eat time, NO, Bath time, NO! No it's mine, No you can't have it, No i don't like you! are going to be things you probably hear a lot, I don't have this problem exactly yet, and even though my kid can't talk yet NO is a prominent statement in our house, she shakes her head no rather than using the word and i get it all the time. but if you can just stand your ground and  not give in, you will be moved onto the next issue before you know it!

Toddlers are at a point in their development where they are completely mobile, they can go anywhere, and also do and climb anything they want. They also have not yet developed a sense of danger so when they decide to scale the changing table or they seek out new heights such as the kitchen table, they do so without fear. As a parent you are constantly running back and forth keeping them out of things and prying your kids death grip from the scissors they somehow manages to grab off of a counter that yesterday they most certainly could not reach onto, or you are saving them from a two foot fall to the floor. They are crazy little people, the most brave and self assured daredevils you will ever meet, but they still need you. Aside from the courageousness of the terrible twos they still need their mommy and daddy, and you are still their biggest sense of comfort. When you don't make it to their balancing act in time and they do get a little bump or bruise they turn to you for a kiss better it may be a very frustrating time but you can't get mad at them its just they way they work right now.

My tips for dealing with your toddler :

  • Mean it when you say no
  • Stand your Ground, Don't give in
  • Toddler Proof!
  • Don't go too far away
  • Don't get mad, it's not their fault
  • Always remember, Your kid isn't giving you a hard time, they are having a hard time!

Momma's little helper!

Kalli has started imitating everything that i do these days. Its nice to see her helping, but sometimes it makes everything that much harder, especially Laundry. I usually sit on the floor in the living room and fold, sort and put in the basket to be put away later. Well when Kalli decides to help she just picks them all up and throws them in the basket, and then she gets in too!!! Another thing that she has been doing is trying to play with the diaper genies, she opens and closes them and pulls on the liners.

Kalli is in such an awesome stage right now, she is learning so much and explores like crazy. She is starting to really notice that if she climbs she can see new things, she is climbing the baby chairs  swings, coffee table, changing tables, chairs coaches, beds... anything she can get her feet into. I Love my beautiful little girl! She is a crazy hard to handle monkey but it only lasts a moment then its on to the next phase of life.

Response to "2011teenagemom"

This morning while Kalli ate her breakfast and i fed the twins i logged onto youtube (as i usually do) and i opened a video titled "Teen Parents Having More Children", so i watched it because i watch all of her videos and honestly i was pretty much offended by this video, yeah its hard to have multiple children, and yes it happens a lot the statistics for teens is that 25% will become pregnant within two years after giving birth.  I am a statistic i guess, i got pregnant 3 months after giving birth, Kalli was planned (not well planned, but deffanitly intentional). I got pregnant with the twins while I was on tri-cyclen lo, i was also breastfeeding, and honestly we had sex like 3 times before i got knocked up! I did consider my options and decided to keep "the baby" ( i didnt know it was twins yet). I have always been Pro-Life, but until your in the situation where you need to consider possibly terminating, you really have no idea; you get a whole new outlook on it with the fear, regret and uncertainty. It was a hard decision for me to make but did i choose the easy road? probably not. Was it a good decision? I dont know? But do i love my kids more than anything in the world? Yes, and even though this is a hard life i am dealing with it one day at a time.  I want to tell everyone the truth about how hard it really is having babies young, and having multiples. Babies are demanding and take up all your time and energy. They want to be fed, changed, held, played with, bathed, left alone, they need 110% of your attention and with three it is very hard.
Now i said before that i was offended by her video, but do i disagree, not really. I deffinitly think everyone should wait to have kids until they are 100% stable, but things happen sometimes no mater what precautions that you take. Most relationships have a physical element and you cant just eliminate that large part of your relationship and expect it to not suffer greatly.
I deffinitly think that teens should wait to have more kids, but if the first was a surprise who's to say another one wont be. Unless you and your partner stop having sex there is no  guarantee.
I wouldnt trade my kids for anything, and i wouldnt change my decision if i had the chance.
Ihave decided to start posting and vlogging about "reality" i dont want to hide the bad i dont want to mask it with the good times and left out issues, i want everyone out there to see how hard life really can get for me. I will be getting a new laptop soon so that i can vlog and record some tantrums. But until then i am going to tell it like it is right here on my new little vlog.

**So Vanessa, if somewhere out in internet land if you happen to read this, i just want to say please dont judge other peoples lives, the decisions they have made may have been the hardest they have ever had to make, they could be struggling or they could be abundantly happy with the way they live. It's easy to get pregnant, you already should know that, so you should also realize it happening again is just as easy. And btw thank you for inspiring my new endeavors. **

Our "getting out of the house" Routine

Today we decided to take a drive to the states to get some milk and gas, we made this decision around 8:30 am, we were on the road about 2 hours later. Every where we go people are always commenting on how long it must take us to go anywhere. Honestly, it absolutely takes longer than the old on a whim trips but its not really as bad as most people assume, especially since i think we have a pretty good routine, and i can run this drill like a well oiled machine by now.
If we plan a trip before hand this can take slightly less time because i have everything prepared but today it was a last minute decision. (I will make a post later about how I plan for our shopping trips). I was actually feeding Emma and had just got up when we decided this so Luke was already asleep. But its still basically the same routine that I use.

8:30 Feed Emma, Decide to go shopping!
8:45 Make Kalli Breakfast (Banana, Milk)
8:50 Pack Diaper Bag while Kalli Eats
9:00 Feed Luke
9:15 Wipe Kalli off and get her out of her seat
9:20 Dress and Change Luke
9:25 Put Luke in Car Seat (It needed to be re-threaded today so it took an extra 10 minutes to do this!)
9:40 Dress and Change Emma
9:45 Put Emma in her cars eat
9:50 Put Kalli's Car seat and Luke's Base in car
10:10 Get myself dressed
10:15 Get Kalli dressed
10:25 Put Diaper Bag and formula to return in car
10:30 Put Kids in Car and Leave!!

I do this all myself, Jordan occupy's Kalli while i get the twins ready, otherwise she'd be having a fit! All in all today was good we got out quickly and efficiently without any major snags in our plan other that re-threading the car seats... that is a pain in my a** but it's gotta be done!
Leaving the house really isn't an easy task but it is so worth it to relieve that bit of cabin fever I get! I never go out completely alone with more than one, i just don't feel comfortable with it right now, maybe if it was the twins, but not with Kalli! Someday when they can all walk then i will do it but for now i am NOT flying solo! And the absolute best advice i could give to anyone trying to leave the house is have a plan if you can and try to do it the most efficient way possible!

Flat Spots

When Kalli was about 6 months old we noticed that she was developing a flat spot, i really don't believe that cranial orthotics was unnecessary of that it really helped as much as it was praised to. My Dr didn't think so either, she just suggested that we keep her off her heat as much as we can, basically  anytime that she was not sleeping, we did this and while she still has a flat spot its not really that noticeable now that she is getting hair.

Today i noticed that Luke is getting one too!!! OH NO! Little Luke has a pretty big head, and he's not going to have hair like Kalli so i am extra worried about this. I guess its time to start totally tummy-ing him too.

Twins @ 9 wks adjusted 17 wks actual

This week my babies are really starting to "wake up", so i have decided to start documenting their progress weekly. For Kalli i has a baby book that i did this is but i couldn't find a week by week one for the twins and frankly i love the idea of YT updates but i just don't have time usually to get myself done up enough to really feel comfortable in front of a camera, however i think once i get my tax return if i end up buying a new camera i may start vlogging as well  and i will ink it on here as well as it will be on my youtube channel.

This week my babies are 17 Weeks Actual , 9 Weeks Adjusted

*if you are unaware, prems are developmentally monitored and tracked by an adjusted age, their development is compared to their due date rather than their actual birth date`*

My little Luke has been rolling over for well over a month now, he is very strong when holding himself up as well and he has been holding himself up since i brought him home and began tummy time. This week he has started sleeping at night for up to 9 hrs!!! this is insane i am soo happy about this! He has also really started to "play" he bats and grabs the toys on his play gym mat.He looks when he hears distinctive noises or i walk in the room. He has started to smirk a little but he still is not very social. He is perfectly content with being left alone to play and that works great for us. He also makes  this noise when he sleeps almost like a high pitched snore, most prems are noisy sleepers but he just hasn't grown out of it ! He was a big soother baby and he just learned to suck his thumb, so he has been knocking out the paci and putting the thumb in at night lately. He is crowing like crazy he weighs 11 lbs and 2 oz this week.

Emma is a social butterfly, she smiles and coos all the time, she has defiantly found her voice. She is starting to bat at her toys now, she is not a big fan on tummy time but shes starting to get used to it and try to push herself up.  She has been colicky for about 10 weeks, i give her gripe water and she gets lots of cuddling. Emma doesn't sleep quite as well last night was our second night of sleep so fingers crossed it continues. She weights 9 lbs 14 oz this week
